A traditional 17th Century Derbyshire Coaching Inn nestling within the
conservation area of Allestree village, the Red Cow sits next door to the
12th Century village church of St Edmunds.
Host to the local community for hundreds of years offering fantastic
service, beautiful food, cask ales, and an ever expanding gin collection
if you fancy something stronger.
Popular with families, ramblers and dog walkers alike, we are perfectly
placed for a visit to Allestree Park and Hall. You can even bring your
four legged friend to visit us in the bar area, where we also serve food
or a hot drink to warm you up.
The nearest overland station is Derby, then walk to the bus station on Corporation St.
We have a private car park next to the Church of St Edmunds.
